Here’s a closer look at what makes Family Gala special:
Our Programs at Family Gala Recovery Home
At Family Gala Recovery Home, we offer a range of supportive programs designed to guide individuals through the critical early stages of recovery — helping them heal, grow, and build a strong foundation for lasting sobriety. Every program is built around our core values of compassion, family, accountability, and transformation.
🌿 Structured Sober Living Program
Our primary program provides a safe, substance-free environment with daily routines, accountability, and peer support. Residents live together in a family-like setting and participate in regular house meetings, chores, and check-ins to promote responsibility and community.
🧠 Life Skills & Personal Development
We equip our residents with the practical tools they need to thrive in the real world — from budgeting and job readiness to time management, cooking, and healthy decision-making. These skills are essential to building independence and confidence post-treatment.
💞 Family Reconnection Support
We believe healing the family unit is vital. Through workshops, guided conversations, and family days, we help rebuild trust and communication between residents and their loved ones.
🧘♀️ Wellness & Mindfulness Activities
To support whole-person recovery, we offer wellness programming such as meditation, yoga, journaling, and recreational outings. These tools help residents manage stress and reconnect with themselves in healthy, positive ways.
📚 Relapse Prevention & Recovery Planning
We help residents identify triggers, develop coping strategies, and create a personalized plan for long-term recovery. This includes aftercare planning, referrals, and alumni support.
💼 Employment & Education Support
We assist residents in creating resumes, applying for jobs, preparing for interviews, or enrolling in school or training programs. Our goal is to help every resident work toward self-sufficiency and purpose.
Basic
Gala empowers individuals on their journey to recovery. Founded by Justin Rice and developed with Tina Gentry, our program blends honesty, mindfulness, and proven strategies to help participants heal, grow, and embrace a brighter future. Justin Rice, a young man with a heart of gold and a passion for serving, founded the Gala, named in honor of his love for family. Through collaboration with Tina Gentry, the Gala opened its doors and quickly became a home for women seeking change, accountability, and recovery.
A sober living home is a safe, supportive, and substance-free environment for individuals who are in recovery from drug or alcohol addiction. It serves as a bridge between inpatient treatment and independent living, helping people transition back into everyday life with stability, structure, and accountability.
