Our Story
The inspiration for starting Family Gala Recovery Home came from a deeply personal place. Either through our own recovery journeys or witnessing loved ones struggle with addiction, we saw firsthand how isolating and overwhelming the process can be — not just for individuals, but for entire families. We recognized that many treatment centers focus solely on the individual, often overlooking the family unit as a whole. At Family Gala Recovery Home, we wanted to change that. We believed that recovery should be rooted in community, dignity, and holistic support — where people feel safe, seen, and supported not only medically but emotionally and spiritually. The name "Family Gala" represents that vision — a celebration of unity, healing, and second chances. It’s a place where recovery is not just about surviving, but about rebuilding lives, relationships, and purpose with joy and compassion.

What Makes Us Different
At Family Gala Recovery Home, we believe that true recovery goes far beyond sobriety — it’s about restoring the whole person and rebuilding a life worth living. What sets us apart is our deep commitment to community, family involvement, and individualized care. We actively involve families in the recovery process — not just as supporters, but as part of the healing journey. We offer family education, counseling, and structured involvement to rebuild trust and communication. Our program blends accountability with compassion. Residents follow a clear routine, including house responsibilities, meetings, and recovery milestones — but they also have access to mentors, emotional support, and peer encouragement every step of the way. We integrate wellness into every aspect of our program — including mental health support, life skills training, employment readiness, and even creative expression. Recovery isn’t just about saying no to substances — it’s about saying yes to a new life. Unlike larger, impersonal facilities, we keep our home intimate and family-like. This allows us to really know our residents, tailor support to their needs, and foster meaningful connections. The word "Gala" in our name isn’t just symbolic. We believe in celebrating milestones, big and small. Our culture encourages joy, gratitude, and community — because recovery deserves to be honored. Ultimately, Family Gala Recovery Home is more than just a sober living space — it's a safe haven where transformation happens, relationships are restored, and a fresh start becomes possible.

Our Core Values
Compassion: We lead with empathy and understanding. Every person who walks through our doors is met with dignity, respect, and a non-judgmental attitude — because healing begins with being seen and heard.
Family: We believe recovery is a family journey. We work to rebuild and strengthen relationships, involving loved ones in the process and creating a home-like environment rooted in trust and connection.
Accountability: Growth requires responsibility. We foster a culture of honesty, integrity, and personal ownership — supporting each resident as they learn to make healthy choices and build a life rooted in self-respect.
Community: No one recovers alone. Our home is built on mutual support, peer connection, and shared purpose. We grow together, celebrate together, and face challenges side by side.
Transformation: We don’t just aim for sobriety — we aim for lasting change. Through structure, mentorship, and holistic support, we empower individuals to rediscover purpose, passion, and potential.
Joy in the Journey: Healing is hard work — but it can also be beautiful. We intentionally create moments of celebration, laughter, and joy to remind our residents that life in recovery is worth living.

What You'll Achieve
Lasting Sobriety: First and foremost, we provide a safe, structured environment where clients can build the habits and mindset needed for long-term recovery. We equip them with the tools to navigate life without returning to old patterns.
Self-Discovery and Confidence: Many people enter recovery having lost their sense of identity. Our goal is to help clients rediscover who they are — their strengths, passions, and goals — and leave with a renewed sense of self-worth.
Life Skills and Independence: We want every resident to leave with real-world tools: how to manage money, apply for jobs, build healthy routines, and take care of themselves emotionally and physically.
Repaired Relationships: Whether it's with family, children, or even themselves, we support our clients in doing the work of healing relationships — through open communication, counseling, and accountability.
A Supportive Community: We help clients build a network of people who truly understand and support them. Whether it’s fellow residents, mentors, or alumni, we want every client to know: you’re not alone in this.
Hope for the Future: Most of all, we want our clients to leave with hope — the kind of hope that says, “I can do this. My life has value. And I have a future worth fighting for.”
